Our Milestones
Since its opening, the Cebu Veterinary Doctors has taken the dog and cat veterinary practice and the veterinary profession in Cebu to a whole new level. Clients were now informed of their pet's status condition and prognosis through the aid of laboratory tests. Medical decisions were always made basing on these laboratory results.
Through the years, the Cebu Veterinary Doctors has been continuously upgrading and improving the services to better accommodate the ever-growing number of clientele. Here are some of the milestones:
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors (CVD) was opened;
- CVD was the eighth dog and cat veterinary clinic that opened in Cebu;
- CVD was the first and only dog and cat veterinary clinic in Cebu with in-house diagnostic laboratory complete with microscopy, hematology and biochemistry;
- CVD was the first and only dog and cat veterinary clinic with in-house x-ray machine and ECG machine;
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors was given Accreditation for Surgical Veterinary Clinic by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Philippines;
- This accreditation standards pertain to facilities, equipments, practice methods, and management employed by the hospital;
2004, August
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors was given Accreditation for Veterinary Hospital by the Philippine Association of Animal Hospital (PAHA);

2005, June 5
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors was given Accreditation for Veterinary Hospital by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Philippines;

2005, August 9
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors was awarded the No. 1 Veterinarian in Metro Cebu by the 2005 National Shoppers Choice Annual Awards at the Grand Majestic Convention Center, Cebu City;
2006, July 17
- CVD acquires semi-automated Veterinary Serum Biochemistry Analyzer for Dogs and Cats;
2006, September 25
- CVD acquires Portable Ultrasound machine for Dogs and Cats;
2006, October 10
- CVD acquires Mitsubishi FB-L300 Pet Shuttle Service for transporting pets to and from the hospital;
2006, October 13
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors Mandaue branch was opened;
2007, January 29
- CVD acquires 2nd X-Ray machine for Dogs and Cats;
2007, April 13
- CVD acquires Dental machine for Dogs and Cats;
2007, April 21
- CVD acquires Life Monitoring machine for Dogs and Cats;
2007, September 12
- CVD acquires Veterinary Hematology Analyzer for Dogs and Cats;
2007, September 14
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors was awarded the Most Outstanding Veterinary Clinic in Metro Cebu by the 2007 Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards at the Sinulog Hall, City Sports Club;
2008, October 1
- CVD acquires Mitsubishi FB-L300 Pet Ambulance Service for transporting pets to and from the hospital;
2008, October 15
- CVD acquires 2nd Ultrasound machine for Dogs and Cats;
2008, October 25
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors SM City Cebu branch was opened;
2009, April 1
- The Cebu Veterinary Doctors became a member of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc.
