French poodles did not originate in France. Poodles were originally used as hunting dogs in Europe. The dogs' thick coats were a hindrance in water and thick brush, so hunters sheared the hindquarters, with cuffs left around the ankles and hips to protect against rheumatism. Each hunter marked his dogs' heads with a ribbon of his own color, allowing groups of hunters to tell their dogs apart.

Cebu Veterinary Doctors Main Hospital opens Annex

CVD Main Annex

We have recently opened our Main Hospital Annex to offer more services to you. The Main Hospital Annex include the following facilities: the Grooming Suite, Boarding Facility, Maternity-Delivery-Nursery Room, and a Conference Room. Our pet grooming and boarding services which were previously offered inside the Main Hospital are now accommodated at the Annex.
The Maternity-Delivery-Nursery Room is exclusive and accommodates pregnant, whelping, and nursing dams as well as their newborn puppies or kittens. Visitors can also watch their pets during delivery through a viewing window.  The Annex is located beside the Main Hospital and is actually a single unit that was previously occupied by a another shop.
