The Cebu Veterinary Doctors has opened its newest branch at SM City Cebu last October 5, 2008. The branch, located at the lower ground floor, below bridge two (across the former SM Traveler's lounge), beside the parking lot, is a dual facility composed of a dog and cat clinic and a grooming suite.

The grand opening began with a blessing officiated by Rev. Fr. Raul Caga, SVD. The inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremonies were lead by Acting Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, Ms. Marissa Fernan, Vice President SM Prime Holdings, Inc., Dr. Sixto Carlos, manager of Makati Dog and Cat Hospital, and Dr. Alice Utlang, City Veterinarian of Cebu.
